I know that, but I won't say it because a week ago someone asked me a trivia question regarding him. I'll admit, I did not know it at the time.

Someone asked you a trivia question regarding SGR? It had to have been someone on LGP or HF right?mikey287 wrote:I know that, but I won't say it because a week ago someone asked me a trivia question regarding him. I'll admit, I did not know it at the time.

Re: Hockey Jeopardy
I think you can go in a few directions here, so I'm not sure I'll get it at first guess...
Is it specific to just these three or could there be more of whatever the answer is...?
For instance, I think they are all multiple Canada Cup and Stanley Cup champions...but they aren't the only ones (Messier, for one)...

Yup. It was the Pens Trivia thing on Twitter. They pissed me off saying Gretzky was the only person who had ever scored more. Completely forgot about their owner.

Re: Hockey Jeopardy
I can't figure out how to ask this as a GOOD jeopardy question so I'll just ask it as a trivia question:
Who is the all time single season record holder for +/- ? (Bonus points for Year and +/- number)
I hate the +/- stat, but here at the end of the year ytou always hear more about it.

Re: Hockey Jeopardy
I know that one...it was Orr in 1971, he was a +124...102 assists that season. Larry Robinson is next at +120 in 1977.
I think Orr was partnered with Dallas Smith that season, he was +94 I think...or 74, but I think it was 94...

Re: Hockey Jeopardy
I'll try a Jeopardy style one:
He was claimed off waivers by Scotty Bowman and the St. Louis Blues 17 years after he ended the famous coach's playing career (and nearly his life) in 1951.
