I don't know what the KHL rules are, but Ovechkin's lockout team - Dynamo Moscow - just won the KHL finals against Traktor Chelyabinks (from the city hit by the giant meteorite) 4:2.
Ovechkin played more than half of the season for them (31 games, 40 (19+21) points).
