SDD hasn't really done anything since I put my suspicion on him to lower it. MWB is slowly gaining it as well. I still think NAN is somehow involved in this someway, but like I said, it would be too easy.

I know this post won't completely clear me but I'm hopeful that I'll allow the village to focus our effort on going after an actual red.

I'm Wake Forest. I have no special powers. The reason I've been all over the place is for two reasons:

1) I have no idea who is red and at this point have suspicions on almost everyone.
2) I am also trying to start discussions going, which has some what worked.

I do agree with LITT regarding one of the reds is inexperienced. After Mrandall pointed it out, I do remember now that cbear said he had played warz games in the past before starting playing here.

I guess I am most suspect of pecky and nan at this point, but don't have enough information to vote for either yet.

Also, I'm not ready to believe your blue claim. Relantel tried it, though not as specific as you, and he ended up being red. If you're blue, why the hell would you claim it? There's literally nothing to be gained by that.

I guess we have different definitions of what is considered a newb. 6-7 games is still pretty new IMO. As for coming out as blue, you're right I have nothing to gain, but if the village votes for someone other than me than we will possibly kill a red and not waste a day on voting out a blue player. I asked relantel what college he was and he never answered knowing if he said an ACC school someone couldl easily refute that claim. If I am lying then the actual Wake Forest would speak up. but since I am wake forest that won't happen. If someone does claim to be wake forest then vote me out and if I am wrong you will have an easy vote tomorrow.

Wake Forest is the red-headed stepchild of the ACC. The Vanderbilt of the ACC, if you will.

In the context of this game, I could see them as being orange, because they wouldn't really be affected one way or the other by conference realignment. They'd basically be an afterthought.

And that's why, with that in mind, I don't think we should trust SDD's claim of being blue.

I don't believe the blue play by SDD. Sure, he can say he's an ACC school, and no one can argue with him on it, but the ACC and realignment aren't really his top priority as Wake Forest.

From what I've read, WF is just sitting there hoping the ACC doesn't go anywhere. They don't really have a say.

I noticed activity in the forum, I came in actually last night, noticed the game was going for a couple game days, and made it a point to come in today. I just got home so I have to read the thread sometime tonight... such a shame WK is dead, guess he's just another brick in the wall of the lodge.

I don't think wake would be independent, they need the ACC to survive. They have no prospects without it, and they certainly wouldn't have any special powers because they are the red headed stepchild. Unlike how Vandy is the intellectual of the SEC, Wake is just another nerd in a conference of them.

Part of me wonders if the Rel/red "newb" plays were intentional. That shaf or Canaan were in on it to make sure it was pointed out as a newb play and beneath Rel.

Of course that thought also puts suspicion on me, oops.

The thought crossed my mind, but going from other games, it's hard to tell. Perhaps them being an ACC school is why no one would think they'd be orange, but at the same time, they aren't exactly a well-known ACC school.

it's fruitless to postulate about the existence of independents when we 1) don't know they even exist (unless i missed it in a writeup) and 2) dont know what pattern of existence in terms of conference alignment any potential independents may be
