Frozen Four Tickets

Post by meecrofilm »

Anybody have any information on these? Will season ticket holders get some sort of notification when they go on sale? Just wondering if they'll be sold though Consol, or if I'd have to go on some other website. Obviously I'd like to go, but not really sure of the specifics, so if anyone has any info, it'd be greatly appreciated.

We (STH) had to sign up last October on some NCAA Frozen Four Website for the chance to get tickets. So that ship has sailed.

I actually was picked to receive the tickets, but passed. Didn't feel like spending the $200 for four games when I might not even care about the teams involved.

EDIT: I'm not sure how tickets are being sold now. It may be by game.

There was a link in one of the Pens e-mails I got a week or so ago. Tickets are expensive (probably close to a Pens game) Re-sale tickets will be very expensive I imagine.

I have a friend who goes every year. they say the best way to get tickets, especially to the final is to buy from fans of the teams that are eliminated in the semis.

I have a friend who has Frozen 4 tickets that he is looking to sell at face value which is $200 each. He is now scheduled to be out of town for work next week and cannot attend. He just wants to get his money back and is not looking to scalp them.

If you are interested, send me a message with your contact info.

considering the teams now in the Frozen Four you can count on plenty of tickets hitting the open market.

I had tickets when the FF was in Detroit in 2010(?). I do recall that the tickets to the final game was very cheap on the secondary market after teams that lost in the semis went home.

Nobody but the biggest hockey krishnas is likely to know that three of these schools even exist. And Yale's not exactly best known for hockey.

Glad I did not buy when I had the offer, I bet there will be plenty at a low price next weekend.

ticket exchange is going to ruin any hope of getting face value even anymore tickets are just dirt cheap there right now and will go down even more by thursday. crazy.

The "official" NCAA ticket exchange is no longer selling Frozen Four tickets.

StubHub has tickets still:

Apparently my mom got free tickets for this at the last minute even though she didn't try to get them initially. I advised her that if she does not root for Yale, then I am no longer her son.

Free tickets - I'd go. But $200? Nope. That money is going to my ST deposit/playoff package. Which is due in 9 days.
