North Carolina State, a very proud member of the ACC village. As a long time member of the ACC, NCSU felt comfortable with its place in the conference. But with things looking bleak, ACC members began to point fingers at one another and decided that there was an informant amongst them, feeding the Dude his "inside" information. A vote was called, and after some debate, NCSU was unceremoniously voted out of the ACC. NCSU would be playing the ECU's of the world next season.

With the expulsion of the Wolfpack, the ACC was down two members and the Dude moved ever closer to destroying the ACC once and for all.

UVA and Duke always knew they were the apex of the ACC. They spent hours together discussing high finance, geopolitics, and various matters of international import. They even secretly discussed shuttering their football programs, agreeing that this barbarism could no longer continue.

Alas, when Duke saw UVA off at the dining club that evening, it would be the last time these fond friends would see each other. UVA would be found the next morning with a fountain pen lodged in his throat, and the words THE DUDE scrawled on his forehead. UVA was:
