Re: 2013 Winter Classic
I was able to get tickets for the Winter Classic and the AHL game this weekend. I almost feel bad at how easy it was for me to get them when a lot of Wing and Leaf fans will get shut out.

Re: 2013 Winter Classic
It seems to be easier for out of market fans to get tix. In 08 my friend in Chicago got our WC tix with ease.demondg1 wrote:I was able to get tickets for the Winter Classic and the AHL game this weekend. Detroit (rightly) gets another shot at it in 2014:

Due to the weather; I think only Canada, Buffalo, Boston should be selected. As we saw , above freezing temps ruins the event. The penguins, if asked , should decline~ graciously.

Re: 2013 Winter Classic
I'm all for multiple outdoor games but that will certainly take the luster out of the Winter Classic. What will set it apart from the others? Or is that even a cause for concern?

Re: 2013 Winter Classic
Yeah, I'm not a huge fan of there being multiple games. The whole draw of the WC was how it was so unusual for teams to be playing outside and how it only happened once a year. I think the actual "Winter Classic" should at least be the only game on New Year's Day, have the other ones at some other point in the season.nocera wrote:I'm all for multiple outdoor games but that will certainly take the luster out of the Winter Classic. Re: 2013 Winter Classic
Winter Classic should be the all-star game if anything. That is the only way to make the all-star game close to enjoyable.

Re: 2013 Winter Classic
This, without a doubt; its sort of a waste of a competitive game, since conditions have rendered them less than competitive.Rylan wrote:Winter Classic should be the all-star game if anything. That is the only way to make the all-star game close to enjoyable.
