What else exactly could Jagr have done to make his team more likely to win the Cup other than lead his team in nearly every major category? How would he have willed the coaches to make better decisions, or the GM to make better trades, or his D-men to make better decisions?

I'm dying alive with laughter that the Bruins might have to give up a 1st for that dbag.

I'm hoping it turns into a 1st and they lose to us in the Conference Finals.

So maybe answer my question with anything approaching a defensible position, instead of spouting off nonsense? No, oh ok.

NYR Team record in goals, assist and points for a season. Dragging the Rags to playoffs almost by himself each year.

Leading the playoffs in scoring after 2 rounds before 87 and 71 his last year.

You call that fail?
Old on Jaromir looks good, right Lesky? :P older than Morrow ...

Nice. :thumb:

Agree. He did have a heck of a year.

I think the Caps years were his most disappointing. I thought he played good with the Rags, and suprised me with the Flyers after being out of the NHL for 3 years.
Yeah, as much I hated it, he was good for them last year on and off the ice. They miss him a ton this year.

People on bruins boards are planning the parade. I can't wait for the ole groin flare up and see what Boston fans say then

We gave up a first for Iginla. We also gave up Joe Morrow (more valuable than a first) for Brendan Morrow.

That's a fine deal for Jagr, who can still bring it. He has more points than Iginla or Morrow btw.

I'd rather have Iginla and Morrow any day over Jagr

I don't disagree, especially to fit our team. But Jagr is still a very good player and for a team like Boston that already has grit but needs scoring / puck possession, Jagr is perfect. And the price was far less than we paid for either Morrow or Iginla. And we got Iginla on a steal, since Shero wasn't competing with anyone else.
