Yeah, it sets up a lot more human deaths without losing main characters.

Anyway, here is an interesting article on the showrunner fiasco and budget cuts that keep hitting the show...maybe this is why they don't hit the road...too expensive when you have a prison set already there for you.

Couple of bad words, but that is it in the article:

I was more miffed that nothing was accomplished.

I absolutely love this show, and defended the weaker episodes and preached that the content in those shows will lead up to a crazy finish. It did nothing but disappoint to me.

I agree it didn't need 16 epsiodes to get Rick back to the nice guy and show how opposite Carl has become.

Watched it Sunday night, but wouldn't use this site yesterday. I liked the finale, but it felt unfinished. It felt like the first half of a 2 hour finale actually.

The Governor will return on AMC's The Walking Dead.
David Morrissey will be back when the zombie drama comes back for a fourth season in the fall, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
The British actor initially signed on for a one-season role to play the famed villain from the comics created by Robert Kirkman on which the TV series is based.

On thing I don't get, he's all upset at Milton for torching the biters, but what good would that have done in Merle's attack? It just would have added more walkers. No unless he replaced biters with people I can see his anger but that would be a horrible tactical decision.

yeah, i don't follow that. merle was already surrounded by biters, and ultimately it was a biter that caused him to be found by the governor in that shack anyways. you could chalk this up to "the governor is a crazy person saying crazy things", but i think it's just another example of how incredibly sloppy this show is with the details.

I don't think he was as upset at Milton over the Merle attack, but rather that Milton had betrayed him. He only made the comment about "men dying" to justify his insane urge to want the biters there in the first place.

Yea I agree, he knew Milton was the one who torched the biters the episode before.

I thought the finale was average. I expected way more main character deaths and a little bit more out of the final confrontation between the Prison and Woodbury.

the Governor's massacre of his own people left it very difficult to keep counting deaths, which they announced in advance was 27.

Felt the same way; I was really hoping they would leave the prison finally, but it looks as if they are digging in deeper, now with more old people.

Sidenote... if there is a zombie apocalypse, why would you take care of old people? Aren't they just going to die and turn into zombies anyway?

Carl probably posted the same exact thing on his live journal.

He is a moody bad kid now...he doesn't use live journal. He uses one of the more emo/dark ones like dead journal (I think that is what it was called)
