I guess I'm confused as to how they can even afford him being at the cap as it stands now.

Friend of mine (flyers fan), says a flyers trade is being announced soon.

He mentioned Boyle, Clowe, and Jagr.

Not sure if he meant all 3 or what.

The flyers have had "exploratory talks" regarding Clowe, Jagr, and Bouwmeester.

I find it hard to believe that they'll be willing to give up young players for those guys, but they honestly may have to.

Not sure if I'm a flyers fan I'd like this.

I also checked...is it true Ryan Clowe has 0 goals this season?

I certainly hope they send their first round pick to Calgary, San Jose, or Dallas :pop:

Whatever the Flyers give up for any of those three players will make them a worse team.

Columbus said to be buyers this year. That's good.

Holmgren is reaching to try and save his job. Philly is gonna have a hard time even making the playoffs. Ryan Clowe or Bouwmeester aren't good enough to put them over the top

How stupid would it be to go after Jagr again. Scoff when you refuse to pay the guy what Dallas did, then pony up and lose assets because of it.

What? The Flyers trade a rat for a goon. Nice. THAT is what they're missing?

Unless they're using Rosehill to get Clowe, because the Sharks don't want to trade in their own division?

I fail to see how Jay Rosehill helps anyone get a playoff spot in any conference - even in the ECHL.

The way things look now, Avs could have had two of MacKinnon, Drouin and Seth Jones had they not matched Cgy's offer sheet to O'Reilly.

Well, good for them, I guess...
