So he went home, slept and then went to the hospital the next morning? More than just a concussion with the hemorrhaging. Any video of the hit? Wondering if it was just the hit or if he smacked his head on the ice?
And how do you catch bleeding in the brain now after a bad hit?

There is no video, but he motioned to the ref that it was an elbow. But, other than that you can't see the hit. I don't think he hit the ice.DelPen wrote:So he went home, slept and then went to the hospital the next morning? More than just a concussion with the hemorrhaging. Any video of the hit? That's really sad. Hockey players are too tough for their own good sometimes.

I don't know if toughness is the issue here. The NHL is the best hockey league int he world and only recently started giving more attention to head injuries. 5 years ago and I could see this happening to a player if they had an injury that caused bleeding in the skull that went immediately undetected until it was too late. The Snapshot wrote:That's really sad.
