KoKo, Bartkowski/Caron and a 1st for Iggy? Possible...Feaster sounds like he wants this done quick. Flames at 49 contracts, can't take too much right now...

First, are those even good prospects?mikey287 wrote:KoKo, Bartkowski/Caron and a 1st for Iggy? Possible...Feaster sounds like he wants this done quick. Flames at 49 contracts, can't take too much right now...
Second, does Boston have a lot of space under the cap?

I know I was saying "No one should pay what Feaster was asking" in the other thread, but Jesus Christ, he'd have to be a moron to accept that.

KoKo has a lot of skill, but unproven. He can play though, he'll be a player. Bart is like Bort.pens2005 wrote:First, are those even good prospects?mikey287 wrote:KoKo, Bartkowski/Caron and a 1st for Iggy? Possible...Feaster sounds like he wants this done quick. He certainly has a history of getting piles of junk for big names.Pucks_and_Pols wrote:if that package is all Feaster can get for Iggy he wins the Don Wadell worst GM of the year award going away.
Ian White, center Matt Stajan, left wing Niklas Hagman and right wing Jamal Mayers.

Re: Around the League: Transactions
If that's all it takes to land Iginla, I'll be sad.
I think we could do better then those prospects and still not be missing much.
But we really don't need Iginla, would be nice but not necessary.

Feaster could continue to be the worst GM in the league. Would not be surprised.

Re: Around the League: Transactions
Sounds like a bunch of crap. A second round draft pick in 11 (Koko), Bostons 11th ranked defensive prospect, a guy worse than Dustin Jeffrey and a first?mikey287 wrote:KoKo, Bartkowski/Caron and a 1st for Iggy? It's hard to believe nobody has a better offer than that.

Are you just now catching up to everything that's happened? Because McKenzie hasn't tweeted about Iginla in 45 minutes.nocera wrote:Breaking!

Watching the Coyotes/Wild game. They showed a graphic claiming Mckenzie reported it. We'll see I guess.MRandall25 wrote:Are you just now catching up to everything that's happened? Because McKenzie hasn't tweeted about Iginla in 45 minutes.nocera wrote:Breaking!

Perhaps they were just going off those earlier tweets.

Dreger on NHL Tonight: No deal is done. It looks like he's heading to Boston, but it is not done yet.
Mentioned Bouwmeester to Detroit.

@TSNBobMcKenzie: Unconfirmed but BOS-CGY appears to be Khokhlachev/Bartkowski/conditional 1st round pick for Iginla. 1st rder conditional on Iggy re-signing.
