To be fair, the Pens have an extremely exciting style. If I had to watch the Bruin all night Id pull my eyes out. Turtle in front and block shots.

What happened to the no clutch and grab?
The attempted pass no-icing?
It's like in the past few years they've slowly just reverted back to the pre 2005 era, and I hate it. We've had what, 4 powerplays over the last 3 games? We'll see what happens next year. Garbage to just throw out your rulebook.

It's not just the goal scoring...its the "way" the game is played. A player gets benched if his name isn't Crosby or Malkin and he tries to beat a player 1 on 1.DocEmrick wrote:Meh, I agree with moondart here.

We have gone from the "lets outscore" the opponent to "lets keep them from scoring".
We have gone from slappers off the wing, to hit the blue line, and dump the puck in the corner and go try to cycle. Or, lets do a "pass off the pads". My God....the NHL players don't even shoot to score anymore? Their mentality is to pass off the pads for scoring chances!! Aghhh!!!
