People that make up stories about their past. I shouldn't get mad about it because it doesn't really effect me at all, but a lot of the time I'm just like, "c'mon... that didn't happen, stop being an idiot."

Re: Your irrational pet peeves
that's the other part about it... it's one thing to straight up lie and make up stories, but when you get called out on it, why do people get so upset and feel the need to defend themselves? you just got caught lying, own up to it.

I just think that they lie so much about everything that they start actually believing themselves.count2infinity wrote:that's the other part about it... it's one thing to straight up lie and make up stories, but when you get called out on it, why do people get so upset and feel the need to defend themselves? you just got caught lying, own up to it.

I want to buy some candles so that I can have them in case of power outages. Does anyone still make candles that are not designed to emit some form of stink as they burn? I neither need nor want my house to smell like apples, pumpkin spice, vanilla, lavender, or whatever the heck "sea breeze" might be.

I am not a fan of the auto correct feature on any Android. If im in a hurry and do not proof read my post, chances are it reads like a monkey typed it cause of said feature.

People who are having an "intelligent" conversation but don't use intelligent language. I am listening to this conference call and this woman, who is a Ph.D., uses the word "like" in almost every sentence.
"Like, how would we, like, use these assays to, like, get the results we, like, want."

Re: Your irrational pet peeves
When I misplace something and then I go to look for it and can't find it. It becomes an obsession. It's very stressful.
