Right, you cannot buyout injured players. (see: Cloutier, Dan). Unless they sign off on it I believe.

Absolutely. But since Pronger couldn't play even if he wanted to, he can't see, then things become fishy. Pronger would've retired if it didn't affect the Flyers cap situation.

I don't know about that. Has Savard officially retired yet or does he just come in once a year, get declared unfit to play, and keep collecting a paycheck.

Pronger would play right now if the symptoms subsided, its not at all inaccurate to have him on the IR.

Dreger has said that MTL would be interested in Briere if he were healthy. Philly would love to move him. There is no fishy activity. The dude has had concussions before. Sucks for the flyers.

Maybe Zolnierczyk made googly eyes at Briere and Rinaldo got jealous and had to hurt Briere? Those two need some couples therapy.
