I thought this thread was about them changing the spelling of their last name to make it easier for the masses.

And all it took was one near-blinding.

Jordan has to go play with Eric. Jared is in Carolina's farm system. Marc gets hit and will be forced to wear a shield, now they all do it. Jesus, my cousin has 7 year old triplet boys and even they arent as attached to each other as this clan.

Then again, how many times has a family had this many members in the same relative age group playing in a league like the NHL at the same time? Has to be slim to none.

Brent and Duane won 2 Cups with the Islanders. Ron and Rich (the twins) played on the Flyers and Blues together They all played for the same teams in juniors.

It's still a once in a generation thing, and it's not like they never played on the same teams.

The Stastny brothers did to, as Peter followed Anton into the NHL, and Marian joined them (to play for the Nordiques).

Wasn't sure where to put this, but some in the media are questioning the staal trade and the contract given to him.

Wow, that's interesting. I guess they are tired of losing in Raleigh. Rutherford may need to go.

Have the Staal brothers booked their tee times? Hope Jordan is enjoying sub-.500 hockey life.

I still hold that Staal was never worth 6 million and I am glad he is gone.

Don't forget the Plaguer brothers in St. Louis in the 60's and 70's.

We had the Lemieux brothers for a while, does that count? :)

I thought when Jordan basically said he wanted to go to Carolina and turned down the Pens offer that he may have been choosing playing with his brother over having a shot at winning the cup. With the division realignment going through, it's looking like he may not even be making the playoffs for a long time. Hope it's worth it.
