Good point. Never thought to check the contract info.mikey287 wrote:He's due whatever is left of $4 million in salary this season, plus a full $4.25 million next year (cap hit is 3 and a change), that's a spicy meatball to take a chance on...his injuries/production notwithstanding...

hmm. A. Hall only 4 assists in 20 games and a +3... but he's 32 now and not 27...canaan wrote:P. Nokelainen cleared Waivers and TBay placed A. Hall on Waivers

That's what I got out of the move. Fratten went over 70 games last night, so he would hav eto clear waivers.canaan wrote:I guess Lupul is coming back soon and they have to clear a spot?

Good move for them. He didn't belong in the NHL yet really. That Buffalo team is a relative disaster, he got a taste, now he can go back to the Q and dominate. This also could be the start of Buffalo making some serious changes there...like I've said, I'd start by cutting off the head (Regier)...tfrizz wrote:Grigorenko has been returned to the Quebec Remparts.

Saw TJ at some pickup roller hockey tournament in NJ...he has some man boobs...doesn't exactly take things all that seriously...huge shot, huge liability on the ice...his brother is a total scumbucket on the rink too...Kovy27 wrote:Buffalo trades TJ Brennan to Florida for 2013 5th round pick.
Can't hurt to take a chance on him, but Buffalo has better d-men coming down the line, they don't need him...

We're talking about over in the other thread...but here's another guy that could be cashing in during a Norris-winning season...I like Yandle, and OEL makes Yandle look like a big sack of dog vomit...

You can keep him if you ditch some/all other highly paid defensemen and replace them with depres, bortuzzo, engo, one of the other young cheap prospects.

I just don't see the concern, his deal ends when Orpik's and Niskanen's deal does...just don't bring one of them back: found the money!

This is horrible asset management though. How do you burn a year off his entry level deal for this? Oh well, Buffalo is a mess.mikey287 wrote:Good move for them.
