New trailer. A few new shots, nothing too crazy.

Another cool thing about George R.R. Martin? He loathes the Patriots and "Evil Little Bill" almost as much as (most) of us do.

I visited Ommegang Brewery a couple of weeks ago. Next weekend, they are having their big debut party for their GoT-themed beer, including food tastings, and possibly some celebrity visits. Timing is everything..

I know I'm way behind you guys in the books, but I'm about half way through the first book. Season 1 follows it pretty good, but I love books so much more because there is so much more info, so much more "behind the scenes" in thoughts of characters that it gives you so much more info. Once I finish book 1, I want to go back and watch Season 1.

I figure it will take the rest of the year for me to read the first 5 books, but loving the first one so far.

Started reading the books in January and was burning through about one book/week...then hockey started.

Just started on book five.

I just found out that there is an actor to play Ramsey Snow!
Spoiler:
A theory that I, along with many others had, was Dagmer Cleftjaw was going to fill the role of Ramsey entirely, since Dagmer already did a few things in place of Ramsey.

From GRRM
Well, I have been writing for a number of years a series of novellas set in the same world, the world of Westeros, but a hundred years earlier, about two characters called Dunk and Egg. And I published three of those novellas, The Hedge Knight, The Sworn Sword, and The Mystery Knight, and I have in mind about nine or ten more novellas about the adventures of Dunk and Egg.

So we have been playing with the idea of doing those as prequels. They would be prequels, in a sense, they’re a hundred years earlier but in the same world. They’re somewhat lighter in tone than the main series, a little more adventurous. But my fans love them and I love the two characters too, and it all ties into Westeros history. So maybe that will be what we’ll do.

HBO backup plan for when they run out of seasons to film because the books are not finished.

Please do not even speak of such things. I would be totally devastated.
