Chicago has gone on a magical run, and Anaheim is playing out of its mind, but I think Boston is the best team in the NHL. Really looking forward to Tuesday to see how we match up. Two totally differently structured teams. Boston's top 9 forwards all make between $3m - $5m.

Jackets are playing pretty good hockey in the 3rd. They haven't scored but there getting their chances. I don't like the realignment plan, but one aspect I like from it is Columbus is going to be in our division. I like that were going to play a team regularly that's fairly close to Pittsburgh (3 1/2 hours or so) and I enjoy going to Columbus. I go there all the time in the summer as i'm a STH with their MLS club the Crew and it's just a great city to go to.

Flyers only 3 points out of 8th. Problem for them is they've played more games than anyone. 8th place Rangers have 3 points and 3 games in hand on them.

Caps are actually more in the playoff picture than the Flyers right now as they are on the lower end of games played despite being 5 points out of the 8 seed.

Despite the ridiculous point streak Chicago would only be up 4 points on the Ducks if Anahiem wins their 2 games in hand.

Crosby is up 3 on Stamkos for the points lead with equal games played. St Louis is in 3rd and 7 points behind Sid.

Last but not least: don't look now but Alex Semin is a +18, tied for 2nd with Kunitz in the department. Useless stat or not, looks like the change of scenery was good for him. Getting props from his teammates for his work ethic. Still wish we pursued him more
