He was drafted by the Kings and signed in the SEL with buddy Oscar Moller.

Re: Bud Holloway
He was really good in Manchester (AHL) the Kings affiliate. They wanted to hang on to him - qualified him and everything - but he wanted a roster spot and the Kings wouldn't promise him one so he left. Really good in the playoffs, I think it's getting to about that time over there, yes? He could do some damage one fine day...
Holloway is from Wapella, Sask., an extremely small village in the southeastern part of the province...needless to say, in a town of about 300 people, they don't have a gym. At the 2006 draft combine, they asked him how he's going to get stronger and he said he was going to go to Wal-Mart and get some weights and have his brother spot him...it was an honest answer, sure, but not one you'd expect...

So could be worth a shot on two way deal?

That's the reason why he's over in Sweden in the first place. He didn't want a two-way deal.Pens4Life wrote:So could be worth a shot on two way deal?

Re: Bud Holloway
For a team thin on the wing like the Pens are, I'd give him a shot on a short term deal. Can't be any worse than Kennedy has been this year.mikey287 wrote:That's the reason why he's over in Sweden in the first place. Re: Bud Holloway
I agree.. We should give him a chance, but If he doesnt want a two way deal, there is a problem..
Well we might offer him one way deal and then trade him,but..

Re: Bud Holloway
He's not legally a midget, so maybe he could play on the smaller rinks.
