Re: Other NHL games
Let Chicago blow everything they have during this regular season ride.
Trust me, it has to be emotional and mental going through a winning streak like this. One loss could really set them off the opposite way.
They're a pretty free flowing, loose and fast group, with instant spontaneous chemistry and just enough goaltending.
I predict a 1st or 2nd round exit. Not to mention they haven't played an Eastern team which would totally hand them their ****. Boston, Pittsburgh, Even the Flyers could totally get in their heads.
Still having a crazy wild...."Irregular Regular Season'.

You know things are going your way when you have Carcillo on the ice in the final minute of regulation, and he scores the winning goal.offsides wrote:Srsly, Carcillo of all players.

It will be fun to end their streak with a sweep in the Finals.

And the icing on the cake, it was his FIRST goal this season.Pens Fan Since 1970 wrote:You know things are going your way when you have Carcillo on the ice in the final minute of regulation, and he scores the winning goal.offsides wrote:Srsly, Carcillo of all players.

I have hated the guy his whole career and I feel horrible for him now. Played on and over the edge but can't question his contributions and competitiveness.

I don't care who it is, I never like to see a player have their career ended, or daily life affected, by injury.

Yeah, I mean he was real easy to hate with the shenanigans leaving the Oilers and his on-ice transgressions, but that is just unfair. He has enough money to enjoy his life, but if his brain chemistry and structure will never allow it, what good is it?tfrizz wrote:Idoit40fans wrote:I have hated the guy his whole career and I feel horrible for him now. In all my years talking to people that bet sports I have to say that hockey is one of if not the worst big sport to bet on.mikey287 wrote:5-game parlay tonight:

Re: Other NHL games
Easily the worst that I'm aware of. That's why I sit here and throw nickels into a pot and hope...I'll throw some pocket change on a 2 to 5 game parlay (like above) and if it hits, it's $10, $20 whatever...if it doesn't, it didn't really cost me nothin'...I'm playing on the same single dollar I started the year with...

I actually think that baseball is a worse sport to bet on.

Re: Other NHL games
Evidently, I'm unaware of baseball. But that makes sense I guess.
What would it look like if you bet on a 100-win team every game of the season? Pick a clear favorite to start the year and just bet $10 on every...I don't know...Red Sox game, do you come out that far ahead in the end? Every loss is $10, but every win isn't $10 in most cases...

Re: Other NHL games
Not sure.
The margins on favorites are so small...but that would be interesting to track over the year.
The real money is on taking underdogs in football, so if you ever get a crystal ball for that, let me know. :)

The Stars could use some offensive help on D.
Carter gets his 16th.
GoGo gets smoked by Doughty...Razor calls it "rectum rattling" hit

I wouldn't say he stinks. Going through normal pains.
