If the Isles weren't a bunch of penny-pinchers, this would be a good time to fire Jack Capuano. They blow the third period majorly against an average Carolina team. John Tavares, a kid that has been a pro since he was 13, did everything he could not to lose his composure on the bench at the end of the game. Hamonic broke his stick in anger on the walk to the locker room. Those are the two best players on the team, they care, they want to win and the team just precludes them from doing so.

Pittsburgh has a player like that too: his name is Andrew McCutcheon.
