Seriously?
Remember the Pens drafting him, watching him a little as a prospect, then with the Rangers AHL team. Its only been two games (5/6 at this point), but so far he's only given up 1 goal total. He got the shutout against the Predators on Monday and looked strong doing it, even though the Predators we're pathetic offensively.
Still way to early to tell whether he stands a chance in the NHL, but just never thought that he would ever get a decent look in the NHL.

Two words: team defense
It's why Bryzgalov's numbers were so much better in Phoenix than elsewhere; it's why Mike Smith went from unclaimed on waivers to Vezina candidate in little more than a calendar year; and it's why it seems any goalie they call up is a suitable replacement.
