Anchor Porter, mmm.
I'm having my 750 ML Saison Rue (The Bruery) tonight with a chipotle black bean and rice dish. Just got a run in in case I want to have the Widmer dark saison too.

The bottle I got appears to be infected. It's terribly sour.

Cracked the Wiehenstephaner Dark Hefe with dinner to complement my jagerschnitzel and potato Salad. Great stuff. Easily the best Dark wheat beer I've had.

Did you make the jagerschnitzel?
If so, please discuss in the cooks thread.

You inspired me to try it.Eismann wrote:Two down, quite nice. Maybe could use a touch more body, but the flavors and finish are really good. The 10% isn't striking, either.Eismann wrote:Picked up some Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout to try. We going Wesley Snipes on this.

Very good chocolate stout, IMO. None of the flavors are overpowering, and the finish is very nice.
Always bet on black

Brooklyn Black Chocolate stout is good but Rogue Double Chocolate is my favorite. If you ever get the chance, it's delish.

If you can, cellar one of those puppies for a year or two from now. Just from the initial flavor profile, I feel like that would age very well. It would probably make for a nice comparison and a good drinking experience.ILikeTurtles wrote:Just picked up a 4 pack of Dogfish Head Olde School, slightly excited.

On second thought, I will NOT be tapping the big ass bottle of Delirium Tremens... it is corked. ![Facepalm :face:](./images/smilies/facepalm.gif)
Guess the Weihenstephaner Kristall Weisse will have to suffice.

So yeah... Kristall Weisse... nicht so gut. It still smells like a Weihenstephaner hefe, but filtering the yeast really took a lot of that great flavor out.

Combination of Victory Headwaters Pale Ale, Dogfish 60 Minute, and Yuengling for the game. Always good.

Re: GIVE ME YOUR BEER SUGGESTIONS!!
Just realized I picked up the Dragon's Milk Bourbon Barrel stout by mistake. It's OK, but bbs isn't my thing. I like bourbon and I like stout, just not together.
