Announces engagement to tennis pro Maria Kirilenko.

Good for him. Well, hopefully for her, too.

<3 Kirilenko, good for Ovy...he always has a long offseason, so he'll be able to spend more time with her as well which is great for both of them...

Gaucho, that pic almost caused an awkward moment when I didn't realize where I had left it on my screen after scrolling down some...

Are you implying Sid is gay?

My wife told me one of her clients seen Sid at a resturant in the Galleria in the south hills, the women who seen him described the woman he was with as "too beautiful for words". Also the women included during Sids lunch kids approached Sid asking for his autogragh, the girl left and returned with pictures of Sid for him to give the kids. The women also implied Sid seemed "intrested" in her.

Take it for what its worth, a 3rd hand story. The girl could of been anything from a friend to a PR manager?? But thought it was nice of him to sign autographs during lunch.

If he is, I hope he feels comfortable with it and his teammates don't pester him about it.

Well, given he did a "You Can Play" PSA, we know Brooks would be cool with it.

Agreed. But is there any merit to Crosby being gay? Is it because he is not seen publicly with girlfriends?

I have a friend of a friend that works at the BP on Ohio River Boulevard in Sewickley, and he said that he saw Sid and another male canoodling while he was waiting for his car to fill up.

I am just lol'ing at Crosby expressing any emotion officially. Imagine a reporter asking Crosby about a recent engagement or something.

"well, I was giving the relationship 110%, Duper made me a good pass when he introduced us and I was just lucky enough she said yes. A lot of credit has to go to her parents who worked hard and of course, my now fiance who had just as much to do with this as me. We have had our ups and downs so far, but Fleury has been there behind us whenever we make mistakes to bail us out with some good saves and advice. Glad I was able to have some success there as the fans here are great and we all deserved the yes."

I would not be surprised if Sidney Crosby is gay. That being said, I would not care either.

She is athlectic, beautiful but she has hair on her chest. Lite blond hair, but hair.

If they have a girl together and her hair is replaced by Ovie's caveman hair.......yikes. Talk about poisoning a gene pool.
