I listened to a lot of Rage over a couple days and I think that a lot of Metallica fans would like the band, to be honest. I heard some songs that sounded like a cousin of some of theirs. Also emailed a friend who's a bigger fan of power metal than I am and he agreed that they have some terrific guitar licks. That's what strikes me as I listen to their material. This is one of my favorite songs. Just a great guitar riff. (some girls chip in with the singing. 2nd from the right... yum.)

Ehh....im a big Metallica fan but power metal is not my cup of tea. But then again im a music snob.

Rage aren't a true power metal band. Closer to regular metal. I like power metal because it usually features keyboards and a clean singer, as opposed to the heavier stuff. This is power metal (for anyone not too familiar). Gorgeous melodies, fast, good solos.
