wicked --- I'm sure you listen to Gamma Ray, but there is 1% chance you may have missed them. So to make sure. Same style, also from Germany, similar output, same quality. Basically, you like one band, you like the other. These are off one of my favorite albums.

Yeah, I like Gamma Ray. Land of the Free and Somewhere Out In Space are my 2 favorite albums of theirs. I don't like them as much as Blind Guardian or Helloween though.

Man on a Mission has always bothered me because the song is 95% awesome, but Kai is so feminine sounding on the bridge that it hurts. If had to pick a favorite GR song... it would be this:

And while we're on the subject of German power metal, another band I liked a lot (at least their first 2 albums anyway) was Iron Savior. Unification was one hell of an album.

If you like the more traditional IS, you probably like Rage. BTW.. I like Beyond The Black Hole from GR so much I can listen to it over and over. Same with Set This World On Fire from these guys. I'll go around singing all day.

I never really got into Rage. I have one of their albums, and I've heard at least a song here and there from a lot of the others... It's been literally years since I've listened to a song by them though.

I'm not particularly that much into traditional heavy metal. They're pretty close in that regard. But they're great at what they do and are extremely popular.

How about a band like Grave Digger? Also German. Hugely popular. Their first record (1984) is one of my all time favorite albums. I'll try to find some songs.

If you never listened to this, do. It is so catchy. The guy screams, but it ties in with the melodies so well. I think this is one of the best metal records ever put out and should be in any metal dude's collection.
