I like the behind the scenes stuff they show on talking dead. Like how they set up for decapitations and how they make the blood and guts (includes bar b q sauce!)...that stuff is fun...I can do without the polls, and general talk.

Was a big fan of that at the beginning. After Smodcast, Get Old, Hollywood Babble On, TESD, etc, I burned myself out on Kevin Smith. I'm listening to WTF, Nerdist, Comedy Bang Bang, Doug Loves Movies, This American Life, The Moth, and Who Charted these days.

This thread is starting to derail.

I didn't care for Matt Myra on Attack of the Show, but the last week or 2 he's been hilarious because he just doesn't care anymore. He did a Black Friday buyers guide with a telestrator, and he started to draw various penises on air to highlighting different items. He did it all so casually too, while everyone was cracking up.

To be honest, I also got really tired of skipping 10 minutes of ads before every smodco show.

To keep the thread on track: Mid-season breaks are dumb.

eeeeehh...michonne. don't spend 5 seconds describing why you're there to andrea or anything. sure, risk your life to come back, hang out in his room for eternity and then plan to off the guy. but cancel it all because you're so brooding and conversation is just the worst.

Michonne seems like she should have been an interesting character, but they decided to just have her alternate between brooding and slicing things up with a sword.

And that was the big ending to leave us on? OOH. CANT WAIT ZOMG.

For those that want a dissection of the previews of the rest of the season re: Merle and Darryl...

Spoiler:

We see the Gov walking away from the "two men enter one man leaves" arena which is full of smoke like that which comes from the grenades Rick had. Obviously something goes awry.

We see Glenn coming at Rick with a gun saying, "What's he doing here!?" indicating, most likely, that Merle (who is probably not very happy with his old pal the Gov right now) is with him.

No indication of Darryl though. I would be surprised if they offed him.
