Getting my Sunday NFL beer on.

Anchor Liberty Ale....a solid American IPA, not my favorite, but quite good.

Got a sixer of Great Lakes Christmas Ale. I have never had one and wasn't sure what to expect going in, but I am very impressed with how smooth it is. It isn't overly spiced like some winter warmers, and I actually enjoy the malty notes. Very pleased.

Anderson Valley Winter Solstice is very good. Nice blend of spice and maltiness.

Bought a case of Blue Moon Winter Variety pack:
6 Belgian Pale Ale
6 Belgian Whites
6 Winter Abbey Ale
6 Spiced Amber Ale - Only one that I have tried and it is VERY good. Lots of spiciness

Penn Brewery is tapping the first keg of St Nicholas' Bock Brewers Reserve on 12/7.

Hopefully will be able to get down there and try it this year.

I just had my first ever rauchbier on Monday. It was a Victory Brewing Scarlet Fire. Very unusual, but kind of funky.

Great Lakes Christmas is a SOLID beer. It's one that we look for and snatch up as soon as we find it. I'm such a ridiculous beer geek, sometimes I'm embarrassed.

Had a Anderson Valley Winter Solstice the other night at dinner. Really, really good. I had never even heard of Anderson Valley (California brewery), so was very pleased when it turned out to be excellent.

You'll want to locate Barney Flats Oatmeal Stout.

Now here's a funky introduction of how nice I am
Tell your mother, tell your father, send a telegram
I'm like an energizer 'cause, you see, I last long
My crew is never ever wack because we stand strong
Now if you say my style is wack that's where you're dead wrong
I slayed that body in El Segundo then Push it Along

Honey and Thyme is a great combination on toast....I bet that could work as a beer.

when I toured the brewery, we saw the tanks this is brewed in. They imported the wood from trees in Paraguay (I think), it's crazy how heavy the wood is. The tour is worth it for this alone
