Coors tastes like water.
Miller somewhat tastes like a beer. Usually good for cookouts and stuff if you're gonna be spending a few hrs and don't plan on getting hammered.
Any form of Budweiser gives me a hangover.

Miller is just awful, imo. Coors goes down like water, but if your water tastes like Coors, you may want to look into that...

Stopped by the Wexford Whole Foods tonight. Really nice selection. Definitely the final nail in the coffin for One For the Road.

Duchesse De Bourgogne for $4?!? Are you kidding me. What a steal. I asked the dude working the pub who the heck that happened and he said sometimes some really good buys slip in there. That would be one of them - not going to find it for less than $8. Can't wait to see what else happens to find its way into the mix and match section.

Also grabbed a Great Lakes Oktoberfest ($1.50) and Schneider Aventinus ($3.99). Boom.

I had my first Fosters oil can in a long time.
I don't like to drink during the day, but a 4 PM football game....well, I had to do something.

Pretty sure I can wait another 5 years for one.

Shiner Hefeweizen... picked up a 6 pack because i have to try every hefe i see, and this was reasonably cheap ($6.99). It's certainly drinkable, but this is not a hefeweizen.

Rogue Dead Guy Ale is a solid, drinkable ale, but doesn't hold a candle to that Dogfish Head Indian Brown Ale I had the other day

Had a Boulder Hoopla Pale Ale...pretty darn good. Piney hoppy flavor. :thumb: I've been drinking a lot of strong IPAs, so this was a nice half-step down in the hops dept.

Then had a Spaten Ocktoberfest Ur-Marzen. I really liked it. I've had it from the bottle before, but this was a first from the tap. Very smooth and drinkable. Great flavor.

Now, I'm sipping on a Dogfish Head Punkin Ale.

Tomorrow's my Friday.

Evidently Victory and Fathead's are collaborating on a beer for Cleveland Beer Week.

...i'm intrigued. I am saving my bottles of Fathead's Headhunter IPA in my fridge for evenings when I feel like a great beer. I just ran out of my Widmer Brother's variety pack, so I might need to stop at the distributor this evening.

Any suggestions for unique beers and where to get them?

My friend is doing a beer tasting for his birthday party this weekend and awards will be given out for bringing the most unique or outstanding beer.

I'll think about that Troy.

Trying some Bar Harbor Cadillac Mountain Stout tonight (have never had it). Will report back.

Go the House of 1000 beers and grab this - think there are still a few bottles left.

It's a stout - but they use wild yeast so it drinks like a sour. Amazing.

I hear ya - it's pricey. I know you like sours/wilds, and I was really blown away by how phenomenal it was. I didn't think a sour stout would work but they nailed it.

Cascade does amazing stuff. I've had Sang Noir which was unreal.

Bar Harbor Cadillac Mountain Stout is delicious. Not overly heavy, actually a drier stout, but man is it good.

Yeah, my buddy who lives out there mistakenly told the guy at Cascade that my 2009 Kriek was a Sang Noir and the guy about fell over, said they won't be making it for a couple years. Not sure when or if I'll get to try that one.

Not sure what else is coming, but I think I'm finally going to get a Boulevard Saison Brett.
