How many posts will it take? I really don't ever wish someone to lose their job, but I could do without Poni.columbia wrote:They're waiting for the complaint level in this thread to reach code red.Malkamaniac wrote:Why hasn't Filaponi been fired yet?

I can only imagine this thread if Thor Tolo still worked in Pittsburgh.

No set backs or aches and pains..
Thinks lockout will end soon...
Will consider playing elsewhere if lockout continues...very PC as per usual.

Re: The Official LGP Pittsburgh Sport Radio Thread
I cannot listen to the fan any longer. There are 15mins of commercials to every actual 11mins of show. Yes I timed it, yes it's true. I don't count Jim Collony sports updates as part of the show and I don't count their bumps/lead ins as part of the shows. Only the actual time the hosts are talking. That's terrible, just completely terrible. Even when they're "back from the break" there are 3-5 mins of updates/sponsors read before the show picks up again. It's terrible.

What has to be done to revoke Syracuse's ability to churn out sports journalists/broadcasters?

Colony reading Rickey Gary's tweets can only be surpassed by Gianotti's song parodies on the awful scale.
Gianotti sung "Hasselback" to the tune of "sexyback" onthe voice of Richichi.
I couldn't change the station fast enough.

I listened this morning b/c npr is doing their pledge drive. The morning show is really up in arms about Clark leading with his helmet, he uses that technique to try and dislodge the ball, he was definitely late with it the time he got the personal foul, but that's how he dislodged the ball from Vick at the goal line. I wishe they'd atleast entertain context into their idiotic discussions.

Re: The Official LGP Pittsburgh Sport Radio Thread
i am going to post this here as i am under the suspicion that there are several 93.7 personalities active in this thread and i would like to see this improvement made: on the CBS radio app - all of the advertisments/non show material gets cut in half and another advertisment starts. for instance - one of the items i am acutely interested in is the traffic report, however, every morning all i get to here is that that parkway east is jam-- and then get to hear about some behavioral intervention or something. and i get to hear half of boomer esiason's little mini rant and then cuts off and goes to some netflix commercial or something.
