Re: Stars re-sign Lehtonen
Lehtonen is a very solid goaltender who has played behind some miserable teams that spent the majority of the game on the PK. I'm not sure how much sense it makes though to draft a goalie 11th overall and then two years later sign another goalie to a long, expensive contract. I guess my point is that it makes the drafting of Campbell to seem like a mistake. Lehtonen will be under contract until 2018.

I think Lehtonen is a fine goaltender, but I'm not sure he's worth that kind of money. This makes him the 7th-highest cap hit among goalies in the league, just head of Jonathan Quick and less than $500,000 behind Ryan Miller and Cam Ward - all being more accomplished goalies IMO.mikey287 wrote:Lehtonen rules!
