Introduction
"I can access your mind through your dreams,"
Dominic Cobb explained to his employer.
"You create the world of the dream. We bring the subject into that dream and fill it with their subconscious."
And without any further explanation, the man in the suit slid a briefcase of money to Dominic Cobb. The target had been selected. The time and date set. And now, payment in full. Up for grabs, was an intricate business expansion plan that would lead to the downfall of Dom Cobb's employer, and the company he had crafted from the ground up.
"How is this even possible? How can you trick the mind into believing that a dream is real?", the employer questioned. Normally Dom Cobb hated explaining the depth of the craft, but in this case he decided to make an exception.
"Well dreams, they feel real while we're in them, right? It's only when we wake up that we realize how things are actually strange. Let me ask you a question, you, you never really remember the beginning of a dream do you? You always wind up right in the middle of what's going on."
"Sure, sure - nobody ever remembers how a dream begins," the employer replied.
"Then tell me, what were we just doing ten minutes ago?" Cobb questioned.
