Probably all doped up on booze and painkillers to cope with the sun burn and hair restoration treatment.

Well as I heard it (grain of salt) Kuznerek showed up drunk at a Steelers game in the press box. If not drunk, had some booze aura about her. Tim Benz ratted on her and she was replaced soon after.KennyTheKangaroo wrote:??? they were run out of town?jimjom wrote:And Trenni Kuznerek and John Burton were run out of town basically for a lot less.
Burton was demoted in the early days of the morning show and put onto update/Steelers duty due to nightlife.

I don't wish bad things on many people, I would absolutely love to see Tim Benz get arrested for something.

Heard the same exact thing about Trenni, as well as the detail about who ratted on her. Sad, too, because I thought Trenni was actually very good at her job.jimjom wrote:Well as I heard it (grain of salt) Kuznerek showed up drunk at a Steelers game in the press box. Doesn't surprise me at all about Benz, either. I've heard from a few people who encounter him somewhat, um...regularly at both the station and at events, and everything I've heard says he an absolutely insufferable prick.
A buddy of mine used to run in to Burton out in the social scenes. Really good dude, from all accounts. He didn't seem to shy away from the nightlife, but I didn't realize it may have played a role in his demotion at The Fan. For what it's worth, he seems to have landed a pretty good gig down in Tennessee.
I don't know how true it all was, but there were rampant rumors of some really big-time personality conflicts between some of the original on-air lineups over at The Fan. A lot of it always seemed to be connected to Alexander and Seibel.

That is patently false.jimjom wrote:Burton was demoted in the early days of the morning show and put onto update/Steelers duty due to nightlife.
After Giannotti filled in for Alexander, the morning show sounded so much better with Giannotti running the show they moved Giannotti in and had to move somebody out; for some reason (PA's sponsorhip dedals?) they moved Burton and not Alexander.
