Re: Jagr question
Not a suprise since the Flyers won´t be an option if they sign Parise or Suter.Jagr will wait until big boys get signed before he decides. As many as 12 teams interested, incl Mtl. Jagr would love to play with Habs

Re: Jagr question
Svoboda has not even talked about any teams at all this year - complete change of strategy! He´s been almost silent.

Jagr watch 2012 is dead until Parise and Suter has signed for some teams - the Flyers can not make Jagr an offer before this is done!

On Puck Daddy feed Dreger reporting that Jagr "wants" to play for MTL but teams other than MTL are offering him 4 million for 1 year.

Re: Jagr question
NHL Network just said Jagr is looking for 1 year $4M.
Thats 1 million too much for Jagr unless he can hold up during an entire year, which looks like a long shot!

Re: Jagr question
I do think he wants to show himself as a more durable and productive player than last year. He insists that it was his groin (I think it was his groin) that slowed him down and he also said he is planning to get thinner.

Re: Jagr question
Correct. But is it enough to get thinner? Jagr is old and heavy either way. His groins must be a puzzle to solve, for how many years has he been trouble by them? Its mind boogling when you think about it.
But for sure I would like to see Jagr play 82 games and playoffs healthy ans see what he can really muster up to!

Re: Jagr question
Shero offered 2 million last year, some teams have offered 4 million this year.
Have I heard anything about Penguins interest in Jagr: NO!
Do I think Lemieux is interested this year: NO!
Do I think Shero have even the slightest interest, NO!
This also proves Shero only made the offer last year to cover his own ass since Jagr had said he wanted to return! If Shero had a genuine interest he would have submitted an offer this year too.

Re: Jagr question
Well, if the Parise saga goes on to long and the Pens end up missing out, they might make a half-hearted pitch for Jagr, since they must spend the money somewhere.
But I find this scenario as likely as new Lemieux comeback!

You do realize that Jagr burned every bridge here. There is 0, nada, zilch chance that Jagr returns to Pittsburgh in a Pens uniform. **** him and his drama.
