He's going to get ripped apart in CLB.

I think it is a good move for Columbus. Why would philly want to move their backup though?

They want a veteran backup. Didn't seem to care much for Bobrovsky...not a lot of progression from him either. Technically or mentally.
Personally, I think within 3 years, Bobrovsky isn't in this league...but who knows...

Re: Flyers send Bobrovsky to Columbus
Good deal for both teams. Bob is good enough to be a starter. I just don't inderstand why the Flyers traded a good backup who caould learn a lot from Bryzgalov.
When a team claims they need a verteran backup for a 32 year old who is just one year into a 9 year contract that shows that have little confidence in that player.
The Flyers just never leanr with goaltending.

I dont get why CLB didnt go for Bernier/Schneider/Luongo($).. much more upside IMO with what I don't think can be that much more of an asking price.

Schneider not available, I believe. Luongo expensive, but they did pursue him for sure. Organization does not think much of Bernier...scouts like Bobrovsky more...
That last tidbit is why they lose a lot I guess...

Why would Philly trade their best goalie?

I'm actually proud of them for not trading Nash for Bryz.Rylan wrote:lolol Bobrovsky > Bernier?

This post is a misnomer. Philthy has no "best goalie." Only "least worst."MRandall25 wrote:Why would Philly trade their best goalie?
