Re: GIVE ME YOUR BEER SUGGESTIONS!!
The thing about that founders old ale is that it gives me a decent headache. Moreso than other strong beer. But it's damn tasty.

Re: GIVE ME YOUR BEER SUGGESTIONS!!
had some Southern Tier Hop Sun over the weekend. I thought it was a great summer brew, they went down all day long with great ease. also had a Southern Tier Choklat 22oz bottle, it was very gnarly almost like liquid whoppers, not sure if I could drink more than 1 22oz bottle, especially with it being 90 degrees (firefly vodka was a welcome refreshing follow up) I thought it was pretty light for an imperial stout, but very rich, the 10% abv also made me feel kind of funny

out of curiosity, how much was a case (i'm assuming 24 bottles) going for? probably upwards of $150?

Weird... the 4th BL Platinum (I will call it BLP from now on) tastes better than the 1st. Can't wait to see how the 5th tastes.the wicked child wrote:lolololololFroggy wrote:lolololololbhaw wrote:Rocking a Bud Light Platinum right now, lol.

that's OK, as you get older, your body will go through many changes, you'll soon have hair in different places and your voice will change, as you get bigger, you will soon be able to drink all 22 ounces, it's just part of growing up!shafnutz05 wrote:Tried Southern Tier Mokah tonight. Re: GIVE ME YOUR BEER SUGGESTIONS!!
Here's some interesting things I had over the past couple weeks...
Weihenstephaner Hefeweizen--I saw on Beer Advocate that this was the highest rated hefeweizen. I didn't remember it being that good, but it had been years since I've had it. Anyhow, this time it was really good (I think I may have been confusing it with Koenig Ludwig hefeweizen before). I can see why it holds the number 1 ranking.
Dupont's Saison--I'm just starting to get into saisons (inspired by Kraftster), and this is only the second I've had (the other being the Ommegang Hennepin). I wasn't that impressed. The Dupont really seemed to lack the complexity of the Hennepin.
The Bruery's Mischief--I just picked this up yesterday and haven't had it yet (or anything else from The Bruery). It's supposed to be a Belgian-style pale ale. Anyone had this?
