Well, we haven't had a dynasty team in hockey since the Oilers and last time I checked there were a couple of other players on the Kings besides Scuderi so the comment that "he can win the Stanley Cup by himself" is just LULZshafnutz05 wrote:...because the Pens looked like juggernauts and the Kings didn't after 2009? Re: Non-Pens NHL Games Thread
What are you talking about EPP?
I think it's a reasonable assessment that most people would have expected the Pens to win again before Scuderi. Your statement that "people that actually follow hockey should know Scuderi is good" came off as snide, blatant trolling.
I sincerely have no clue what you are so indignant about right now

Re: Non-Pens NHL Games Thread
Its hard to believe because if having to choose between the two since 09, no one in their right mind would think the LA Kings would win a Cup before Crosby and Malkin got another. No one thought the Kings would win the Cup as an 8th seed until maybe the 3rd round.ExPatriatePen wrote:Whys that so hard to believe? Re: Non-Pens NHL Games Thread
why is there an argument here, someone made an innocuous comment. no need to turn it into a cage match because you disagree.

There are times when I your comments are so far off the wall that I have to think you're trolling.

Marty played pretty well this series and I hope this isn't his swan song.

There hasn't been a Dynasty in hockey since the 80's. Expecting your team to make the SCF every year (especially since the lockout/CBA is a little hard to believe from someone who actually follows this sport (and I know you do).
It's not "unbelievable" that Scuds is here this year, just as it isn't unbelievable that one of the free agents on either of these teams will be back in the final before either of these two teams are. It's just the way the league is set up now.
Relax.
