Just kidding SDD, but I don't think I've ever seen such an implosion during a championship game in any sport.

I think that is a massive overstatement. The Devils were down 3-0 in this series, won two in a row, and in game six, had one player commit a really stupid penalty. I've certainly seen worse meltdowns in elimination games
