Mike smith: "When Brown gets away with something like that after the whistle — knee on knee, that's a dangerous play. If Raffi Torres gets 25 games for his hit during the play, this guy should be done forever."
Then I guess Smith should be gone forever for the attempted destruction of Brown's (was it Brown?) knee with his stick.

It was. Aren't saying the Kings are saints, but the Kings aren't acting holier than thou about things.

The same could easily be said about LA. I don't think they're any better. Put them down 3-1 in a series and you would have seen some bad stuff.
I think the same could be said for almost any team. Desperate times call for desperate measures.
This series was the first time I watched Phoenix because I don't really care about them, but they were like that when they were down 0-0 in the series.

Problem is, the 'Yote were doing that nonsense in Game 1.

1) It wasn't a knee-on-knee hit, so just stop that;
2) The hit was concurrent with the whistle, not after it. There was no way to avoid the contact.
I am rooting for the Kings so that I can see a drunken Mike Richards and Jeff Carter hold hands, kiss, and tell the camera "This one's for you, Philadelphia!"
