Found Lion beer for $22 in Bridgeville, imported from Sri Lanka. Having the imperial lager. Dude said its usually $50 case. 8.8 abv so yeah. Not bad but so thick and strong that it reminds me of a 40 of Colt 45. Apple cider taste, not that carbonated, will keep smashing a couple more but i wouldn't drink this daily rather I'd pound a few if I was having a night I wasn't driving then go out somewheres.

1. Yuengling Traditional

Dollar sales: $206,266,200
Change in dollar sales from a year ago: +36.55 percent
Case sales: 9,465,673
Average price per case: $21.79

Yuengling is America’s oldest brewing company in the U.S., having been founded in 1829. It also has the strongest brand. This brand’s strength appears to be helping sales immensely. Yuengling is tied with the Boston Beer Company for being the largest American-owned brewer by measure of barrels shipped in 2011. On top of this, the company is becoming even more popular still. For the 52 weeks that ended April 15, 2012, Yuengling had the largest increase in dollar sales in the U.S. from the year before, growing by more than 36 percent. Yuengling, however, is significantly less expensive than the other brands on this list.

There's nothing wrong with yeungling, but I don't understand why anyone would love it. I guess it's cheap, has pretty pure ingredients (probably) and you can drink a lot of it. Is that the draw?

Yeungling Lager is my goto beer at bars that don't carry anything beyond the standard Bud, Coors etc.

Wouldn't say I love it, but I would drink it over those beers any day.

Yes. Their tag line should be "slightly better than Budweiser"

Yeah, that's pretty much what it is. I can typically find it cheaper than anything else around here, with the exception of Natty Ice and Beast, but I think it actually has some taste to it compared to other cheap beers. If I'm at a place that only sells the basics, I'll typically go with Yeungling, but if it has any kind of Brown Ale, I'm all over it.

The key word there being slightly.

Just when I think that there may be hope for this country Corona shows up on a top 10 list. Though I am surprised to see Modelo Especial on that list, good summer beer, though I prefer the Negra.

Lefebvre Barbãr tonight. Really tasty beer. I could get into that for the summer, and 8% that could be trouble.

I had no idea where to add that link. It is just nice to see that Yuengling is growing as a company on a large scale that produces a quality beer.

Friend located a 2009 Cascade Kreik in South Carolina today. Can't believe it. $18.99 - gonna be worth it, though!

Just got back from a conference in Philly. Say what you want, Philly is a beer mecca.

Big ups to Spaten Optimator and a local, Nodding Head Grog. Oh so good.

Philly is having its Beer Week from June 1-10, I believe. Insane.

I love living in the Philly area. In one week, I can eat at Victory Brewpub, Troeg's, Stoudt's, and Dogfish Head. You jelly?

No, because you still live in Philly. That's like lviing on top of a giant mountain of garbage, but from way up there you have a breathtaking view. Still a pile of stinking garbage, though.

It is very, very hard to find. Our friend got a call from his guy at Whole Foods, so he was able to procure a bottle, which I had for the first time Saturday night. It is really amazing stuff.

I've been pissed at Nodding Head ever since I went to the Penn Brewfest a couple years ago and they did not have Monkey Knife Fight as advertised on the list. Unforgivable.
