This is a very well-balanced team. I think we can go deep in the playoffs.
Mikhail Gorbachev will be behind the bench. Lou Reed and Jon Bon Jovi will split anthem-singing duties.
Lou Reed was a
speed ice addict, so this makes sense.

I would pay big bucks to see Lou Reed sing the national anthem.

Meh, Team July 12 doesn't look so good... GM George Washington Carver would trade away his best players for peanuts, and Henry David Thoreau's pacifist approach to the game wouldn't sit well with the hockey purists. And don't get me started on Richard Simmons as the trainer.

In which I miss Crosby by eight days, I give you Team August 15...
LW - Greg Adamsn, the overtime hero of Game 1 of the 1994 Cup Finals and all-around swell guy; Gus was a favorite all-time Canuck
C - Brendan Morrison - hey, look at that, maintaining an appropriately-decided Canucks slant
RW - Jakub Voracek - liked him in Columbus, can't stand him now
D - Peter Taglianetti - can't go wrong here; Cup champion, solid but not spectacular defense, unreal hair and social media phenom.
D - Neil Wilkinson - meh
G - Martin Biron - it's a good thing I like French toast.

Yep, pretty sure I might have the worst team. At least my Basketball team would have Lebron, and I'd golf with Tiger.
Same as me. We only have 3 players who played over 100 games in the NHL.
