Yeah, I meant to say, rel's final vote on THG yesterday was kind of the icing on the cake for me.

Yeah, shaf, I agree with you that it would be a red move to jump on. But I think rel's claim to be the vig is confirmed now.

Kraftster wrote:Hams, I was actually thinking the opposite. I was waiting to see who might be the final vote on THG, as I think that's a red move. If you were to be believed yesterday, there would be more kills as a result of killing THG than by allowing there to be no vote (because you lived based upon a THG vote and carried a kill into the night). Obviously, I think rel is green so that thinking doesn't apply, but my no vote was based upon: (1) doubt about your claim and (2) wanting to keep an extra body around if possible.
I see that but it doesn't make sense. If I was to be believed they were getting THG with Red JOAT, and we were going to have to waste a day killing THG and Redwill. Even if you utterly disbelieved me it doesn't make sense to allow a no-kill.

I must be missing something -- why is that a red move? Not rhetorical; I just don't understand.

It boils down to the fact that a red is happy with any kill, doesn't matter who as long as its not a red. Killing THG would lead to two kills if you did in fact become a JOAT (which it looks like you did). Two kills is even better than one for a red. Look at nan on the THG vote:

7 - THG (Hammer, Shaf, Gaucho, nan, Redwill, WK, MWB)

I'm willing to bet that there's at least one other red on there.

There is almost certainly an independent group that has kills:

Redwill - Me
Slappy - Rel (vig)
WK - Presumably Reds
Nan - Presumably Yellows

Yes -- this was pointed out yesterday. I was thinking at one point that it could have been the highlander crew. With THG dead before the kill last night and you killing redwill, that is obviously not the case. That likely means that there is a faction we have not seen yet.

Oh, I can see that logic. I really have been viewing this from a Hammer-centric viewpoint. My logic was that the reds knew that THG, Hammer, and Redwill were the three primary suspects. By forcing a no-vote They could get 3 night kills, while the village wasted 2 lynchings on THG and Redwill.

Right. And it becomes more powerful now that we see Redwill was not red, i.e., they knew that there was no harm in taking this approach. I think this is sort of what MWB (I think it was NAN) was picking up on yesterday when he called out nan for switching to THG because he was leaving and didn't want a no-vote, despite the fact that, at the time, redwill still had more votes.

Now that I have calmed down, I think I'll back off Kraft a little bit.

Pavel, can we get a ruling on when Slappy will be mod killed?

If he was shot by a vig and survives, that means 1 of 2 things: (1) Either he was protected by an RP, which implicates Slappy is an RP, or (2) Rel is not the vig, but rather, a fake-vig of sorts that only shoots and misses -- if this is the case, he could be any color but probably not red.

Save Kraft

Yes. That is what I quoted when I decided to vote for you. Because I thought you were a no-vote advocate (by your own admission, you were) - I think it's possible that Nan and another red worked to achieve the no vote. And I think that might have been you, but I'll back off for now.

This is my thought also. I'm a useless cop and I think rel is a useless vig. No real powers.

So juice seems to be posting enough just to get by. Slappy should be either mod killed or killed by us.

Going to retread some of Nan's stuff later and see if anything is interesting.
