In a related story, Dustin Byfuglien, who hasn't scored since Dec. 9, has announced he'll try not eating a Big Mac the night before a game. For once.

Pretty close, exept there's a small mall downtown.Hardwick Mass. Nothing to do except go to WalMart, which is 30 minutes away. One gas station. Nearest mall is an hour away. Just got cell service.

There will most likely be only 1 100 point scorer and may only be 1 50 goal scorer this year. Clutch and Grab is definitely back ![Scared :scared:](./images/smilies/scare.gif)

If you had the choice between having a CHL Franchise or an AHL Franchise in your city (you get no other options) which would you choose?

This isn't really funny, but think about being at the game. This happens and the guys suddenly can't get up from the edge of the boards. Imagining the scenario playing out is kind of funny.

GM's looking at embellishment.
my solution: watch the game tape afterwards and fine the players who do it. and fine them hard. though would this need some sort of sign off from the NHLPA?

Player fines are negotiated as part of the CBA. My solution would be to heavily fine them and publicly announce the fines.shmenguin wrote:http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nhl-puck- ... --nhl.html

The article also mentions how players are embellishing having their stick slashed out of their hands. I don't think knocking the stick out of someones hands should be a penalty to begin with.

I agree. If it breaks, call it. If they drop it, laugh at them.Sam's Drunk Dog wrote:The article also mentions how players are embellishing having their stick slashed out of their hands. I don't think knocking the stick out of someones hands should be a penalty to begin with.
