Actually, there's a guy in our warehouse that went. It's like American Idol believe it or not, there's pre-screening of the item you have, you're interviewed about the item to see if it's legit, and then they pick the most interesting/valuable ones and THEN you're put on the show.

He said when he went to take a painting he made it to the second round of cuts before he was told he wouldn't be on the show.

Like my step dad. I swear, the dude won't shut up. This is sort of a follow-up to the thing in the Random thread. I will not watch anything with him. Whether there is a historical documentary or a nature show on, the dude thinks he's got all the facts and will yap something out every 2 minutes. Pausing the DVR will not work against him and the encounter would probably end at the emergency room getting the remote control taken out of his throat after I shoved it in there. No wonder my mom divorced him!

That is very irrational. I think tons of people like to know.

i like playing the "whered he go to school" game. i get mad when they say something stupid or their high school

Along these lines, when they say "THE ohio state university" makes me apoplectic. Is there a fake Ohio State University out there that the one in Columbus needs to defend against?

The ones who say "The U" are irritating but there aren't as many of them anymore.

thats not entirely true. i've heard it said a bunch lately, just not as much as tOSU. "THE university of southern california" "THE louisiana state university" have all come up in the nfl playoffs this year alone.
