Apparently I fell asleep with the TV on last night and it was tuned to FX. I woke up at some point and there was a cartoon Burt Reynolds on the TV. Freaked me out man...MRandall25 wrote:BURT REYNOLDS

Re: TV Shows
I know it's late, but I just started watching 24/7 and saw the first two episodes. I really enjoy behind the scenes type things like that. You get to see the part of life of being a hockey player that no one sees. The amount of travel/practice/meetings/ etc that go into it. And you get to see some of the lives of the guys.
And to be honest, I still hate the Flyers with all of my heart, but after watching some of the guys, on a personal level, it's hard to hate this team. It's not the Flyers teams of old. (I still hate Hartnell with a passion though).

Only two more Chuck episodes. I'll be a little sad it is going away. I really enjoyed the show.

Yeah, I watched all of them. Loved it. I can actually identify with Karl - I think he's right on a lot of stuff. Yet the other two guys keep making fun of him. Whatever.Sam's Drunk Dog wrote:An idiot abroad. First episode I've seen. Pretty funny.

2 episodes of Rob, both really funny. The girl is smoking hot. Claudia Bassols... look her up. She's so sweet and has a cute voice. Don't know where she came from, but 4 thumbs up.

She is sooo cute. I'd probably watch just for her. Yeah, I wasn't going to watch, but it turns out it IS funny and worth it.newarenanow wrote:I didnt' watch any yet, but was thinking about it. i'm catching up with "The League". i've seen almost all of this last season, and nothing else.
it's pretty great and everything, but man, anything involving the actual fantasy football is god awful.

Re: TV Shows
I think my favorite instance of that is Andre losing a game because of a stat correction on a Joe Flacco pass. They are in an 8 team league. Why is Flacco his qb? Even for Andre, that's unrealistic.shmenguin wrote:i'm catching up with "The League". i've seen almost all of this last season, and nothing else.

Re: TV Shows
I could not agree more. That show is awesome, with a solid cast of characters. It sucks that NBC is awful in general when it comes to ratings, but that is probably my favorite comedy on television right now.MWB wrote:I'm surprised too. I thought the ratings were pretty good for it too.

Treme has been delayed until Fall, although not confirmed by David Simon...it will be delayed, however.

Re: TV Shows
Anyone watched.... the new one with Kiefer. Touch, was it? Watched it this morning. It was interesting. I like him and Danny Glover a lot. Still not sure exactly how good it will be, but I paid attention and will give it a shot when it comes on. I think they said the series officially starts in March.

Damnit. I like having Treme and GoT back to back. Fall and winter is when I unsubscribe and save money since there are no shows I care for.Digitalgypsy66 wrote:Treme has been delayed until Fall, although not confirmed by David Simon...it will be delayed, however.

Re: TV Shows
I unwittingly recorded only the first hour of the pilot and then when I went to watch what I thought was episode 2 there was stuff missing from what I saw in the pilot. So I went to on-demand and they disabled fast forward. So -2 viewers for Alcatraz. This is why people pirate, and I would pirate it if I cared enough to even bother.relantel wrote:Still liking Alcatraz after ep 3.

Re: TV Shows
Walking Dead needs to hurry back. I want to see it. I dislike mid season breaks.
