Emmy is a prostitute at this point. Her movie or singing career wasn't going anywhere so she got dragged into this soft porn thing. That's what it is, let's be honest. I don't watch the show, but every week Egotastic has videos of the 'hot' scenes. She should be ashamed of herself.Godric wrote:Maybe it is but anything with Emmy Rossum in it is fine by meshmenguin wrote:Shameless is terrible

Interesting. I was thinking about starting to watch it. This helps affirm my decision not to bother catching up.shmenguin wrote:^ yeah. if one wants to ogle her, there are better ways than to sit through 60 minutes of suck

I watched it last night. I thought it was great. This is one of my favorite shows on TV right now.
I can definitely see my daughter dropping the f-bomb in about a year.

Lame city. I liked the book and movie, and this seemed detached from both of those. It's like any other lawyer/thriller procedural.crokin wrote:NBC's the firm, anybody seen it? Worth trying out or same old same old?

The new Kiefer show is set to debut on 1/25 on Fox. Almost get the impression it's a paranormal Jack Bauer by a different name.

No, it isn't very good. Skip it, as I doubt it will be on long.
Also, I love Canada...but they film the Firm in Toronto, and it's supposed to take place in Washington DC. It just doesn't have the right feel...if that makes sense. Homeland films in Charlotte, NC so at least it's a little similar climate etc. Damian Lewis complained about how miserable it was during filming for a pasty Englishman in the NC summer.
