I've been campaigning for equal drunk rights for dogs for years.Sarcastic wrote:BTW, why alcohol-free? Animals get drunk all the time. I saw a video of monkeys and giraffes and hippos and all sorts of various animals getting drunk on fermented fruit. It was hilarious watching them fall all over their feet. So why not give your doggie a little fun?

I'm a little apprehensive, myself, but it happened to catch my eye at a time when I'm looking into porters. We'll see.count2infinity wrote:I've had the Troegs Dead reckoning... i wasn't a huge fan.

Re: GIVE ME YOUR BEER SUGGESTIONS!!
I don't think it was so much that it was bad. I think it was actually a pretty decent beer, but I had such high expectations for it and it didn't live up to them.

Re: GIVE ME YOUR BEER SUGGESTIONS!!
The first one was pretty good. It's Troeg's, so I know going in that it's going to be hoppy, but the hoppiness is smoothed out pretty nicely. Normally, a strong hops overwhelms me, but this one has the malt and fruitiness round it out. Very clean finish, so I'll drink more.

Re: GIVE ME YOUR BEER SUGGESTIONS!!
Went to Trader Joe's tonight for a few odds and ends. Bought a pint bottle (slightly more) of Nero's abmer ale (it has a name but I can't recall it). It was pretty good, considering the bottle was $3. I didn't let it cool enough in the fridge.
I also bought a 6 pack of Kennebunkport Brewing Co (KBC) IPA. I typically don't like IPAs, but this one is actually really good. Brewery based in Maine. Would highly recommend.
Also have a Mission Street Heffe in the fridge and Name Tag 6 pack (super cheap lager... $3 per 6 pack). Probably won't get to those since I have apparently lost all tolerance and the Nero + 1 bottle of KBC is buzzing me pretty good.

Re: GIVE ME YOUR BEER SUGGESTIONS!!
This one was so-so. It's cider-like in color and very hoppy for a brown, even moreso than the Dead Reckoning porter. Probably won't buy again.Eismann wrote:In the on-deck circle, doffing their caps to the crowd for this weekend:

Bell's is a really good brewery. Two Hearted Ale is their best always available, but there other beers are pretty decent too.

Pumking is awesome though. That screaming pumping must be something else.

When I was 17, I had my very first beer. I had my very first beer I purchased with a fake id. My name was Bryan McGee. I stayed up listening to Queen when I was 17.

I really enjoy it. A good malt flavor with dark chocolate aftertaste. It's a good imperial stout. If you like chocolate stouts/beer you should like this
Never tried the stone but then again I'm not a huge Belgian guy
