Re: Mad Scientist Warz Game Thread
To me this clinches it. You posted in the sign-up thread 10 hours before the game thread went up. You posted elsewhere on the board every day at a time close to when the PM's were sent in? Total coincidence? And you just stumbled on the thread now? I call BS. I really think Hammer is the best vote here, folks.TheHammer24 wrote:Lynch Willie kool. Color me.

Save Columbia
TH24 and mac I think are my two choices as of right now.

I thought he was a role player, but wasn't sure whether he was good or bad. Same with columbia. I now believe that ps87 is green and columbia is red. columbia's role claim and attempt to save redwill seemed a little desperate and not very plausible.Pen48guins wrote:What made you vote for him to begin with and what changed your mind?

Re: Mad Scientist Warz Game Thread
His story is plausible, and there's no need to risk killing off a possible green at this point. It would also be a very risky move for columbia to come out like this and expose himself, and possible redwill. There's the risk of the real "scientist" coming out as well as the risk of shaf really being a green player. There are possibly two players who would be able to refute his story.Gaucho wrote:Benny and 48, why are you saving columbia now?

Non-participation once again proves to be the best strategy.

Like I said, the game needed a little spice; there's no point in having these, if people sign up and disappear.

Re: Mad Scientist Warz Game Thread
Pretty much this. I'm not sold that he is not red but I'm not nearly convinced as I once was and I'm going to bed and don't want my vote to put him out without me being able to check up on the thread.MWB wrote:His story is plausible, and there's no need to risk killing off a possible green at this point. mac has had 5 posts in this thread, 3 being to lynch and was for not voting for thg. I just think it was to make him appear green. But there hasn't been much interaction with him.
TH24 is on my list of reds because of reasons stated above.
I was very bored at work last night and I made a nice little list and re-read the thread. And got paid overtime to do it.
Redwill has me all confused. So, I'm kinda going off of what others are saying and taking it all with a grain of salt.

Yea, his story is extremely plausible. Which is unfortunate beccause I thought I had him pegged! Maybe I just sniffed out his role-playing? Idk cause then again it seems I always think I have columbia pegged.Gaucho wrote:Benny and 48, why are you saving columbia now?

Re: Mad Scientist Warz Game Thread
I'm leaning towards TH24 I guess. For me it's now between he and Benny, and I'd rather go for the one who hasn't participated first.
If anyone can refute Columbia's story, they should do it now.

I truthfully forgot about the thread. I posted ten minutes in the sign up thread because there was a thread in Nhr saying it was up. Then I forgot. I found it last night on my way out. Then drink lynched Willie when I was drunk.

I'm not buying it. To prevent this strategy in the future I think we need to do a roll-call during the first night. Everyone has to post 'present' or they are modkilled the first night.

Re: Mad Scientist Warz Game Thread
That's fine. I'm angry that I wasn't here. But you could also fix the problem by PMing the villagers. I know it's practice not to, but is it really that hard to send 15 or so more PMs to remind them that the game started? I signed up like a week before it started, and I forgot I signed up and I go straight to NHR or PR so I never even saw the board index.Willie Kool wrote:I'm not buying it. I'm reading up right now. I'm on page 7. The lynch Willie was a joke because I was drinking and saw he wanted to lynch me.
Save Willie

Re: Mad Scientist Warz Game Thread
Looking at the players left, we've got a ton of dead weight. There are at least 5 on that list that aren't doing ****
Villagers remaining:
1. IrishEyes
2. Willie Kool
3. TheHammer24
4. DocEmrick
5. ExPatriatePen
6. thehockeyguru
7. redwill
8. MWB
9. canaan
10. shafnutz05
11. Gaucho
12. newarenanow
13. Benny Fitz
14. mac5155
15. Kraftster
16. Malkamaniac
17. Pen48guins
18. pittsports87
19. the errey i breathe
20. columbia
21. Rylan
I think we definitely have more than enough to reason out a red this round, but if you guys want to eliminate a non-player then I'm always on board for that. Our numbers aren't that bad....yet.
My attention has turned to goucho and his dis-trust of columbia.

My attention just turned to Benny Fitz and his assessment that columbia's story is "extremely plausible". It is quite obvious that I am blue.

And why do you keep mentioning laying low is the way to go? Does that mean you want to get rid of a quiet player?

Sorry I missed like 6 pages of action, and it seems like nobody's really dead. I'm going to catch-up, but I dunno how much help I can be.
