Jagr's place (courtesy of "Sport" daily). Jake Voracek also lives in the same house:

Jagr out with a groin injury again.

Jagr has now played less than 4 minutes in 4 games.

Both Jagr and the Flyers medical staff is to blame, aggrevating a groin injury 4 times in 90 days is a complete joke.
Jagr has already missed games two separate times this season because of the injury. After the game, he said the ice conditions Saturday were “awful, so bad,” but that he wasn’t sure exactly when or how he aggravated the groin.

“It’s tough to say. There wasn’t any … it’s tough to explain it,” he said. “When it’s bad ice, soft ice, I have sharp skates, the edges won’t let you slide at all. It’s so much on the groin, on the legs.”

Jagr returned quickly from previous bouts with the groin injury. He missed two games in mid-November, then attempted a comeback before missing two more. He sat out another two games in early January because of the groin.

Now, he knows he’s going to have to take his time in order to not stress the injury further.

“I don’t know what’s going to happen,” Jagr said. “But at least if I make it to the All-Star Game, I can make it strong. When we come back, we play every other day.”

He's almost 40 years old with a history of groin injuries. I think it was an understood risk when the Flyers signed him. No one is to blame.

Jagr teaches kids how to gamble! :) The commercial where Jagr acts as Santa Claus (posted on one of the previous pages and inside the link) determined to be "unethical" by the abritration committee for advertising.

Tip of Jagr's ring finger is black-and-blue. He thinks it might be broken from a Parise slash.
More injurys for the old man!

Edit: Looks like he can still play with it though.

40th birthday bonanza

Mama talks "Jaromir always attracted freeloaders":
http://translate.google.com/translate?s ... 25105.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

First coach who thought Jagr was retarded [to make a long story short: When Jagr Sr. brough the junior to the first practice of 9 year old kids (where Jagr was by far the best player), the coach asked the father why Jaromir does not attend the nearby sport-focused elementary school. The father said "he can't." So the coach thought Jagr Jr. was retarded. The truth - Jagr was 5 years old, and was still in kindergarden]:

Father, who wanted Jaromir to become a construction builder:

Jagr was the first Penguin superstar that I really have memories of. I will always hope Jagr the best (then again there are very few players I despise.) Happy Birthday #68

What's funny is that since Jagr is ~18-20 on that picture, his mother likely was not much older than Jagr's current age (40). The resemblance is striking...

Back up a bit in this thread, who are those girls in the "A" team? Random models or are they the players wives/girlfriends?
