They could have potentially given Lapierre a 10 game suspension for jumping on the ice during a scrum/fight ala Godard was my first thoughts about that. And he's a sissy.

Hip checks are at the hips, not the calves. The result of that play is why.

44.1 Clipping - Clipping is the act of throwing the body, from any direction, across or below the knees of an opponent.

I didn't think he was that close to the knees.

He went way too low, straight takes out his knees.. Made worse by the Canuck turning his back but if he'd been skating forward his knees woulda got jacked

Refs actually called that right. I have no problem with that call. For once the Bruins weren't given amnesty for being cheap.
